Creating space for the life you deserve

Luxury Linen Closet

We all need to be washing our sheets once a week. Yes, the truth hurts! Washing our sheets each week can seem like a chore, but we all saw the household germ episode on Oprah many years ago, and that horror has not left our consciousness! But, in all seriousness, we need to be tending to the place we use for rest, recovery, and relaxation. We spend so much of our lives in bed, and it is important to keep it fresh and comfortable.

Having an organized linen closet can be incredibly helpful in keeping your sheets clean, and your nights restful. Organizing your linens takes the stress out having to change out your sheet sets and find what you need. Knowing that once you put the first set in the washing machine, you have a fresh set ready to go can be a game changer. The same goes for blankets and pillowcases and comforters.

Towels are another important thing to tidy in a linen closet, especially if you have matching sets for different bathrooms. Putting matching towel sets together and organizing them by size is key for easy access, and a fresh & clean towel post-shower.

For this linen closet, everything was messy when you opened the door, which made it feel overwhelming and tiring on sight. By pairing sets together, and tucking matching pillowcases in each set, I created a space where sheet sets, in the correct size, are easy to see and find. Extra blankets and comforters are now neatly folded on separate shelves, making it even easier to do a full freshen up of any bed. For towels, I used a trifold method and sorted each set by color and size, making it quick and simple to get what you need the correct bathroom.

Organizing this linen closet gave it an easy and luxurious feel, and now it reflects the beautiful 1000 ct. sheet sets and plush towels living inside. All the right ingredients for an easy laundry day, followed by a delightful night’s sleep.
